Construction update. Entrance to the parking lot from University Ave is blocked once again. There is no street parking on University between Cameron and McKay Ave. Also the sidewalk might be unavailable along with the front main entrance to the church. The hall entrance along with the door by the Memorial Garden will remain available for use. University is closed East of Cameron Ave. Access to the church parking lot is available still from the alley off Cameron Ave. Parking is also available at Mason school and the west lot of Dollarama.

Services

March 29th Palm Sunday with distribution of palm crosses at both services.

March 30,31 and April 1 (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday) 10:00 am service in the Chapel.

April 2nd Maundy Thursday 5:30 dinner and 7:30 service

April 3rd Good Friday 11:00 am Commemoration of the Lord's Passion.

April 4th Easer Eve 7:30pm Candlelight Easter Vigil

April 5th Easter Day 8:30 am and 10:30 am service.

Easter is almost upon us, and to highlight some of the upcoming events I will post them up here.

Palm Cross Workshop Wednesday March 25th at 11:30 am. Join us if you would like to learn how to make palm crosses. Please bring a pair of sharp scissors.

Memorial Easter Lilies can be ordered by contacting the church office, cost will be $10.

April 2 for Seder Dinner on Maundy Thursday at 5:30 for a 6 PM dinner for $20 per person. Our tradition is that guests bring their own wine and candles. Please contact the office if you are interested in attending. Let the church know this week if you would like to attend.

April 3rd Good Friday Fish Fry 4:00-6:30 pm. Perch, fries and coleslaw. Adults $22, child $11. Eat-in or take out. Pre-order by calling the office.

At our services, you will hear words from the Bible, organ hymns (music) of worship, an engaging teaching (homily) from one of our priests and “liturgy” (a traditional form of Anglican worship).

Please do not be anxious about doing the "right thing" during the liturgy, but simply allow yourself to experience the service, and join in the worship according to your comfort level. You may follow along with the liturgy if you like but you do not have to participate in it if you don’t wish to. You may, without pressure or worry, just sit and observe how our worship service operates.

The liturgy from the Canadian Anglican Book of Common Prayer (Traditional 1962 version) is used the first and last Sunday of each month at both liturgies. It is also used at each 10:00 am Wednesday service.

The liturgy from the Canadian Anglican Book of Alternative Services (Contemporary 1985 version) is used on the second and third Sunday of each month at both liturgies.

Church Life and Upcoming Events

Bible Study is Back. First gathering will be Tuesday February 24th at 1:30pm and will conclude Tuesday, March 31st.

Tuesday March 24th at 7:00 PM. Lenten Music and Reflection. Featuring Piano, Cello, Guitar, and Violin. Suggested donation Adult $15-20 and Child/Student $10.

March 25 There will be a Healing Service following the Wednesday morning service.

Please contact the office if you are interested in attending our Annual Christian Seder Dinner on Maundy Thursday at 5:30 for a 6 PM dinner on April 2, $20 per person. Our tradition is that guests bring their own wine and candles.

Office hours have changed. They are now Monday-Friday 9-2.

Centering Prayer is on break for a couple of weeks.

2026 Collection Envelopes are on the table at the back of the church. If you are nut currently using them and would like to, there are some extra boxes at the box. Please just write down your name and address along with the box number at the paper at the back.

Hosts are needed for Coffee Hour over the next few weeks. If you can provide a few plates of cookies or snacks and are able to clean up afterwards please sign up.

Please notify the church office or clergy if you require a clergy visit when you or a member of your family is admitted to the hospital as we can no longer access local patient information at the hospital.

If our parking lots are full going forward during this road construction we have secured permission to park on the side and back lot at Alicia Mason school (Northeast corner of University and McKay) and the west side of the building at Dollarama. (west side only please).

Choir practices have resumed on Thursday afternoons at 1:00 pm. Please speak with our new organist Steven if you would like to join.... before he asks you!

The ladies Auxiliary from the Church is in need of new members. Since COVID they have lost many of their members. They meet occasionally on Sunday mornings. They have worked gathering items in need for several outreach programs. They have aslo done the Sundae Sunday and teamed up with the BAC to do some of the meals. They understand you may not be able to help out all the time but when you can is vastly appreciated.

We are once again looking for volunteers for the following:

Greeters to welcome parishioners

Readers for the scriptures during service

Hosts for coffee hour
